Marilyn Monroe: The Diamond Collection Boxed Set Volume 2 film
$7.95 Set in Texas in the 1950s, SECONDHAND LIONS tells the touching story of Walter (Haley Joel Osment), a shy teenager sent to stay with two estranged uncles for the summer. Various rumors surround the two uncles (played by Robert Duvall and Michael Caine), mostly because the duo have only recently resurfaced into family life after 40 years spent carrying out misdeeds and illicit activities. The one fact about the men, of which Walter's mom is only too aware, is that they appear to be extremely wealthy, having stashed over one million dollars in cash at an undisclosed location. After initially balking at Walter's inherent shyness and nervous disposition, the two men soon warm to the child, and proceed to tell him some incredible tales of their adventures.
Director Tim McCanlies lets SECONDHAND LIONS unfold at a leisurely pace, allowing Caine and Duvall to play off each other and slowly bring Osment's character out of his shell. As all the characters become invigorated by the stories and tall tales, a neat bond is formed between them, with some touching ...

Marilyn Monroe: The Diamond Collection Boxed Set Volume 2 movie DVD
$11.35 Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham hits the stage with hilarious new pals Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Melvin the Super hero, as well as old favorites Peanut, Walter, and Jose Jalapeno, in this sidesplitting performance at Washington D.C.'s Warner Theater.
More than just a stand-up comic, Jeff Dunham is a one-man comedy troupe--a ring-leader in a circus of snark. The veteran ventriloquist may be the only one with vocal chords, but he’s often the least vocal, playing straight man to a steam trunk of personalities: Achmed the Dead Terrorist, a goofball skeleton still fighting the infidels; Peanut, an odd purple creature with a fast mouth; Jose Jalapeño, a smooth-talking pepper on a stick; Bubba J, NASCAR’s biggest fan; and Walter, a dirty old man who speaks his mind. Together with his ...

Marilyn Monroe: The Diamond Collection Boxed Set Volume 2 review
$6.35 In Alexander Payne's ABOUT SCHMIDT, Warren Schmidt (Jack Nicholson) is retiring from a long, dedicated tenure at Woodmen of the World Insurance Company. Though he is proud of this achievement, he finds some difficulty adjusting to life without work. To make matters worse, his loving wife Helen (June Squibb) passes away, leaving him all alone. He turns to his daughter, Jeannie (Hope Davis), for support, but she is busy planning her marriage to Randall (Dermot Mulroney), who Warren just can't stand. He decides to sponsor a Tanzanian child, Ndugu, through a program advertised on television, and sends elaborate letters to the 6-year-old boy along with his $22 monthly checks. Meanwhile, he sets off on a soul-searching voyage across the west in his new RV.
Nicholson's deadpan voice-over narration, especially in his letters to Ndugu, give ABOUT SCHMIDT a solid balance between comedy and drama. The crux of the film is the daughter's wedding in Denver, ...
