2002 album for Swedish techno metal act, the side project of Peter Tagtgren, the singer, guitarist & main songwriter in the globally acknowledged death-metal act Hypocrisy. 12 tracks. Nothing Remains The Same Music Nothing Remains The Same Music Nothing Remains The Same Music Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) Kickass, but not what I expected. If you like dance/trance metal, this is for you. I'm a Hypocrisy fan so that's why I picked this up, but it has very very few similarities to that group. That being said, it's still a good CD, but Peter Tagtgren's creativity is better with Hypocrisy. Submitted by a reviewer (Riverside, CA, USA, Earth, Milky Way, The Ever Exp) Was This Review Helpful? Awesome This is definitely Peter Tägtgren's best work to date. Great songwriting, catchy songs, heavy guitars, and an awesome Beatles cover. Peter's really come into his own as a melodic singer! I can't believe he and his label haven't tried to give this album some push in the USA. "Shut Your Mouth" could easily be a hit over here, and totally destroys all the American mall-metal bands. NEARING PERFECTION... PETER TATGREN HAS THE "MIDAS TOUCH", WHETHER IT"S WITH HYPOCRISY OR PAIN,THE MUSIC IMPROVES IN ALL AREAS BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS..I'M NEVER DISAPOINTED WITH A NEW RELEASE FROM HIM,I'VE LISTENED TO BOTH BANDS FROM THE BEGINNING AND THEY ONLY GET BETTER. ALSO FOR FANS OF HYPOCRISY,PETER HAS DECIDED TO INCLUDE LYRICS WITH THE NEW BAND,SOMETHING UNAVAILABLE TO HYPOCRISY FANS..SO ENJOY!!! Submitted by a reviewer (ASHEVILLE, N.C.) Nothing Remains The Same
$12.89 Words cannot do this album enough justice. This is a truly glorious metal release, certainly Death's finest hour, and easily one of the top metal albums of all time. The sheer ferocity and emotion that channels through each of the intricate, progressive guitar melodies shatters every low opinion of the American metal scene. When you combine Chuck Schuldiner's shrieking vocals (his eeriest performance ever) with the most talented, cohesive lineup yet, you get the definitive Death album. This album delicately mixes the best aspects of past albums Human, Individual Thought Patterns, and Symbolic and takes them one step further. The album is more aggressive, more progressive, and certainly more melodic. Therefore, when opener "Scavenger of Human Sorrow" kicks off, the complexity of the music suffocates the listener, allowing him no room to breathe. Even the instrumental piece, "Voice of the Soul," requires the listener's full attention so that he can grasp the raw emotion carefully woven within. No "true" metal listener can ignore the fact that Death have carefully crafted the perfect album for the metal world, an album which draws from the creative pool of Atheist, Dream Theater, and Cynic yet remains pure unadulterated Death. The ungodly solos and leads that swim within "Story to Tell" and "Spiritcrusher" (which contains one of the most terrifying, blood-curdling choruses ever) are among the album's highlights. ...

Nothing Remains The Same
$14.89 This limited edition version comes in a denim package and includes an iron-on patch.
When Aerosmith returned to its original label in the '90s, there were still contractual obligations to Geffen, where they pulled a Lazarus and resurrected their moribund career in the mid-'80s. A LITTLE SOUTH OF SANITY completes the Geffen cycle and unlike most groups who toss together something in order to move on, Aerosmith took great care in compiling this 2-CD live collection that covers more than 25 years. Recorded during tours for GET A GRIP (1993-94) and NINE LIVES (1997-98), this release also marked a reunion with Jack Douglas, the band's producer during their '70s salad days, who helped the boys from Beantown compile the performances on this collection.
It becomes readily apparent here that Aerosmith still tore it up live regardless of how many power ballads they unleashed on radio since the late '80s. Of course, the Zippo-waving songs are here in abundance ("Crazy," "Angel") alongside ribald double-entendres ("Falling In Love [Is Hard On The Knees]") and vintage material ("Mama Kin"). If 1978's LIVE BOOTLEG gave us Aerosmith at their ripsnorting peak, then SANITY provides a reflection of a classic band that's aged gracefully without losing any of its spark.
23 track collection features 'Eat the Rich', 'Love In An Elevator', 'Janie's Got a Gun', 'Dream On', 'Walk This Way', 'Livin' On the Edge', 'Sweet ...

Nothing Remains The Same
$19.39 GARAGE INC. includes the GARAGE DAYS RE-REVISITED EP as well as rare B-sides and newly recorded covers.
Disc one recorded at The Plant Studios, Sausalito, California in September & October 1998. Disc two recorded at various locations between 1984 and 1998. Includes liner notes by David Fricke.
"Whiskey In The Jar" won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
Anybody who's anybody in rock has been in a cover band. Although "cover" has a negative connotation, it is the playing of others' material that forges the identity and agenda of future superstars. Every recorded cover tune from Metallica plus 11 newly recorded covers are included in this double-CD set. They combine to give fans a glimpse into the wide variety of influences that have shaped metal's mightiest band.
Disc one is the new material, and Metallica place their undeniable stamp on each track. Transforming Bob Seger's midtempo "Turn the Page" into a real rocker, and converting Nick Cave's "Loverman" into sheer brutality. Closer to the mark of Metallica's style, a Mercyful Fate medley retains the spirit of the original. James Hetfield's growls give an extra dose of attitude to Thin ...

$11.65 Generally considered their best effort, Unleashed's 1995 Century Media release, Victory, is the culmination of a prolific early career for one of Sweden's leading '90s metal outfits. To the uninitiated, this record won't sound much different than its three studio predecessors, but fans will notice the refined musicianship, production, and especially songwriting that elevates Victory above the group's prior discs. ...
