Fear of the Dark album for sale by Iron Maiden was released Mar 26, 2002 on the Metal-Is label. Although alternative rock was burning up the charts in 1992, longtime metallist outfit Iron Maiden admirably stuck to its guns with FEAR OF THE DARK. This effort follows in the path of 1990's NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING, as Maiden again sticks to more simple compositions, avoiding the more ambitious songwriting tendencies that marked the group's late-'80s work Fear of the Dark songs. The album-opening "Be Quick or Be Dead" recalls the work of such younger speed metal bands as Megadeth, while "From Here to Eternity" is one of Maiden's few forays into tales of sex and sin, a la Guns N' Roses. Totally impossible to describe what I fell when I hear to this album. in my opinion, the true Iron maiden masterpiece.

Maiden's last good release.
Fear of the dark, isn't by any means Maiden's greatest. It is missing the sound and story telling of Maiden of old.

PURE MAIDEN!!!!!!!!!
Even though this is the only maiden album I own for now, this is surly one of the best maiden albums i've ever heard!

Fear of the Perfect!
This album is flawless. Well, not entirely, The Apparition and Fear is the Key are a bit mehhh, but the rest is great! Standout Tracks- Fear of the Dark, Weekend Warrior, Be Quick or Be Dead, From Here to Eternity, Wasting Love, Childhood's End.

Not bad at all
this album is pretty spectacular. the songs are all great. but harris and gers don't really make a good combo. especially after making 2 horrible tracks, "apparition" and "weekend warrior".
