Welcome to the Canteen album for sale by Traffic was released Mar 19, 2002 on the Island (Label) label. If your familiarity with Traffic extends no further than the band's first two albums--1967's MR. | Traffic Jams: One of the Best Live Albums Ever "Welcome to the Canteen" is what live albums should aspire to be -- perfect! This edition of Traffic, arguably their best line up, features rock's best and busiest session drummer, Jim Gordon, who wrote "Layla" with Eric Clapton and played with every major act in the 60s and 70s including Delaney & Bonnie, Joe Cocker, Jackson Browne, Dr. By a reviewer (Hartsdale, NY) |
Very good I like so much the 70-80´s music. By MLILLO (Santiago, Chile)
ALL STAR LIVE PERFORMANCE All star super band but the live recording on the original lp was not clear. This is better. Not recommended for beginner traffic fans. By lolly (nyc,ny,usa)
Eyewitness at Fairfield Hall The chemistry between bandmembers was magical!! Concert was smooth, organized and all bandmembers knew each others preferences.40,000 Headmen and Medicated Goo was outstanding with very deep percussion riffs. Entire concert is what I consider Traffics best album. By Harrison (Muscle Shoals, Alabama, USA)
SUPER SESSION MOVE OVER It's beyond me how Steve Winwood of Blind Faith Fame, and a child prodigy who wrote "Gimme Some Lovin" at age 15 could have even kept up with these other guys who deserve mention. By barbarajcs1 (Croton On Hudson, NY, USA)
