THE GREATEST BAND EVER!!! This movie is awsome!!! The guy that gave this film 1 star is a nob. So what if the topless actress is a Porn Star? But you'd know she was cause you watch porn all day you lonely nob. ANYWAY... This movie was great, because it shows all the best music videos of KISS in the 80's, and even rare concert footage. Paul, Gene, Bruce and Eric probably had a great time making this movie... I know I had a great time watching it! I give it 2 thumbs up. "Tongue-in-cheek antics" by Gene & Paul The acting in this video (which I have to assume is purposely bad) is atrocious. Gene & Paul are giving an interview to a geeky reporter. The premise is to portray Gene & Paul how some fans might see them. Surrounded by beautiful, scantily clad women. There are a number of videos from the '80s, as well as some vintage live footage. Thankfully, the DVD let's you bypass the story line. I forgot how cheesey some of those videos were though. If you collect KISS videos, it's a must have. But if your just the casual KISS fan, it may not interest you. There's really nothing new. I give it 4 stars, simply because it does feature the frontmen for THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD..... Kiss - Exposed film
$18.25 Procol Harum's first album was originally released without the inclusion of "A Whiter Shade of Pale," a song that had been a monumental hit just before the LP appeared. In subsequent releases, the running order of the album was slightly changed and "Good Captain Clack" was omitted to make room for the hit that the public expected. What further confused matters was the fact that the debut was available variously as a self-titled release and as A WHITER SHADE OF PALE, ...
| | Lizzy Borden Menace To Society CD (1986)
Kiss - Exposed review
$9.69 Lizzy Borden's second studio album, following the live The Murderess Metal Road Show by only a few months, is the band's career high point. A nice balance between the energetic but cliché-ridden pop-metal of its debut and the undistinguished Poison ripoffs of its later albums, Menace to Society drops the dopey Spinal Tap-like lyrics of the debut in favor of a less cartoony worldview, and singer Lizzy Borden's vocals are considerably more self-assured and less shrill. The tempos are slower, but they never slog down into the mush of so many other metal ...
| | Procol Harum Salty Dog CD (1969) (Import) Germany
Kiss - Exposed DVD
$18.39 A SALTY DOG...PLUS contains the complete 1969 original release plus 6 rare or previously unreleased bonus tracks.
This German import reissue is packaged in a digipak and contains the bonus track "Long Gone Geek."
Procol Harum, who reached an astounding peak with their 1967 debut, achieved further heights with each successive release up to A SALTY DOG, their third. This album mixes heartfelt singing with orchestral grandeur and an R&B-based rhythm section (B.J. Wilson is one of the great unsung drummers of the '60s and '70s). The band easily and honestly moves from the symphonic mini-epic of the title track to the bluesy "The Milk of Human Kindness." The dual keyboards offer a regal sheen that is nicely punctuated by Robin Trower's guitar. Throughout, Gary Brooker's vocals are richly barbed and the perfect vehicle to deliver lyricist Keith Reid's literary verses. With the departure of organist Matthew Fisher, this was the last great recording by the original line-up of Procol Harum. This album is essential.
