Recorded between 1970 and 1971. Includes liner notes by David Nathan. Her self-titled debut LP (later retitled Ain't No Mountain High Enough after the single became a hit) was arguably her finest solo work at Motown and perhaps her best ever; it was certainly among her most stunning. Everyone who doubted whether Diana Ross could sustain a career outside the Supremes found out immediately that she would be a star. ...See Full Description

||Has the long version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"!!|
Diana's first solo album sounds magnificent. This even has the long version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" in its full 6:16 length.

||Top Notch Diana|
This was the first solo effort by Diana Ross. Diana chose the music well as this was the stepping stone that she needed when she left The Supremes and went solo.

Since its initial release over thirty years ago, it still remains one of Diana's best solo recordings. With the remastering it sounds as good today as it did in 1970.
