| A great live album gets even better
Initially released in 1978, "Waiting For Columbus" is a must have recording. Great fidelity, infectious enthusiasm and superb musicianship make this one of the great live recordings of all time.

Rhino has done it again!!! With the re-release of "Columbus" and the 7 new tracks on disc 2 witness again the stupendous talents of one of rock's true originals, Lowell George; the medley of "one love stand"/rock and roll doctor shreds the studio originals and lowells bumblebee slide guitar uncoils around a soulful vocal on the toussaint tune "on your way down"; bill payne and paul barrere's "walkin all night" gets a rave-up treatment with a fabulous barrere/george guitar interweave; In June 1979 we lost a great one; celebrate his life and artistry in song... ... Get your hands on this hot biscuit a.s.a. p. !!!!!!!!By the way, the liner notes booklet features some rare photo's and cogent notations by bud scoppa.

| Little Feat's BEST and LIVE
Lowell George left us with a legacy. A legacy of polyrhythmic country funk no other has been able to duplicate. Definitely one of my top ten albums! This particular cut includes bonus material I had never heard.

If you loved "Waiting for Columbus" before Rhino released this remastered and expanded edition, then you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy.

It was worth the wait. This re-master of this set is the best live performance of any band, in my humble opinion.
