Frizzle Fry album for sale Product Description
Primus' second release (but first studio album), 1990's FRIZZLE FRY, remains one of this psycho-noise-funk-freakout band's finest. Whereas most other funk-like hard rock bands at the time came off half-baked and silly, Primus were one of the genre's masters (bassist Les Claypool had done hard time in funk/jazz cover bands prior to Primus). Several songs on FRIZZLE FRY had already been issued on the in-concert SUCK ON THIS, but dazzling renditions of "John the Fisherman," "Ground Hog's Day," "Pudding Time," and "Harold of the Rocks" outdo the originals. ...See Full Description

Primussucks! Well, you either like Primus or you don't, but if you do dig 'em and have only been exposed to more recent albums "Brown Album" or "Antipop" definitely check out the old stuff, including this album which in my opinion rules WAY more! By lmagnusson (Novato, CA)
Its Frizzle Fry by a Mile! This is their best album, no question. Sailing The SEas Of Cheese was good but this was way, way better. Too Many Puppies and Harold of the Rocks, and I personally liked Spegetti Western too, were 4 of their top 10 songs right there. By Zac (Denver,CO,USA)
can't believe its not butter no butter necessary, just frizzle fry and some pudding time. this cd is undefineable, and to try to define it, would be un-tryable. By zola (Flint, MI, USA)
Primus This is clearly one of the best albums that the band has produced. It has the inventiveness, talent and humor that made Primus the great band that they were. By a reviewer (Oklahoma City, OK, USA)
Sounds like, well..... Primus? Primus is truly a band who have completely molded their own sound no band I've ever heard even touches close to this type of musical insanity other than Mr. By srbrucker (kcmo)
