I really enjoyed this movie when I originally saw it some years ago. However on my second veiwing Ii found the scenes with the talking mice and the walking staues a little over the top. Tim Roth also seemed oddly cast as the evil robot sent through time to kill the mother of a future rebel leader, a theme better explored in Xanadu, featuring Burt Reynolds as Sherlock Holmes.
