 Goin' South review Product Description
Jack Nicholson directs and stars as a downtrodden outlaw who finds a loophole that lets him evade the gallows by slipping a wedding ring on a lonely spinster (Mary Steenburgen) Goin' South film. Not much for the married life, he is then forced to work on her gold mine as he dreams of escaping to Mexico. This bawdy western comedy marked the screen debut of Steenburgen and features John Belushi and Christopher Lloyd in hilarious supporting turns as corrupt deputies.

| Underrated classic
If you look closely at this movie, the authentic costumes and set are amazing. A great collection of actors, Nichloson, Belushi, Lloyd, Begley Jr. and Steenburgen's big screen debut in which she was nominated for a golden globe are enuf to make it a classic. The story line is very amusing and there are enuf one liners ot put a comedy routine together! The more you watch it the more you will like it.

Had 1100 movies at my house lost in Hurricane Katrina. Replacing favorites one at a time.

| Great comedy
This was one of the funniest movies ever. Jack Nicholson was superb! A must see several times to catch all the one liners.

| Nicholson's most underrated role
Even though the movie is'nt that good,you still have to give Nicholson some credit.

| Critics and I don't agree on this one
I think this movie is much better then what the critics said. It has a good actors who went on to make it big, very authentic sets and costumes and if you listen to the dialog it is hilarious.
