Still working on the balance of high drama and hardcore that they eventually perfected on 2001's FULL COLLAPSE, New Jersey`s Thursday nonetheless made a strong impression on their 1999 debut album, WAITING. Moody songs influenced by British post-punk like "In Transmission" and "Where the Circle Ends" contrast nicely with the barn-burning metallic riffing of "Dying in New Brunswick" and "The Dotted Line." more incredible than full collapse. the most powerful and true, and honest lyrics they've ever wrote in my oppinion. deffenitly worth the buy.

Amazing.
This early Thurday record is less well produced than Full Collapse or War al of the Time, but the heart and soul put into it easily outshine both.

cant get much better
for you emo kids anyway, im not realy into this stuff but this is a great cd deffinetly there best may be not musicly but the singing is great and the lyrics are some of the best ive ever heard and are much better than full colapes and watt.

excellent CD
This CD is better than Full Collapse in my opinion, although they are both excellent. I tend to like the more raw and pure sound that this album has.
