||Mull Historical Society--Loss|
Loss CD music The Mull Historical Society is mainly Colin MacIntyre, an idiosyncratic Scottish singer/songwriter/guitar player. The music reminds me a bit of middle-period (Smiley Smile/Friends) Beach Boys or middle-period Kinks, and a bit of Radiohead, but all-in-all this is strikingly original, terrific pop music. Great melodies and textures. My favorite CD of 2001.
