Yeah, this is the first guerilla album that I got and it's tight man. All the songs are filthy except track 3, its the only weak song on there.

another sick cd from Guerilla Maab holdin it down for H-Town. all songs are classics with the usual unique G-Maab insane lyrics and real talk. Check out Nothin Left 2 Live 4. Trae, Z-Ro keep doin wat yall doin down here in the south.

A veteran of 10 albums at the age of 26 and an acclaimed member of Houston's Screwed Up Click, Z-Ro is much more complex than his surface or the simple intro of THE LIFE OF JOSEPH W. MCVEY may imply. Prolific output isn't the only thing he has in common with hardcore legends such as Too Short and Rap-A-Lot icon Scarface; Z-Ro also cuts his hard-edged street delivery with a haunting, almost hypnotic, introspection.

Urban contemporary diva Shareefa built her name as a member of Ludacris's Disturbing the Peace collective to which she lent her alternately gutsy and floating vocals to DTP's second compilation. The singer's full-length solo debut, POINT OF NO RETURN, out on Ludacris's Def Jam-affiliated DTP label, makes good on the buzz surrounding the young singer by offering up a full course of slow jams, soulful mid-tempo numbers, and thumping club bangers. Comparisons to Mary J. Blige are inevitable, but if Shareefa's singing isn't yet developed enough to give Blige a run for her money, the impressive neo-soul performances on POINT OF NO RETURN suggest she's very much in the race.
"I'll Be Around," from Ludacris' second Disturbing tha Peace compilation, showcased Shareefa as a scrappy, rough-and-tumble version of Mary J. Blige: "Prissy chicks don't want me in the place," "I might punch a silly chick in the face," etc. One of the highlights from a disc that had two sizable hits, that song -- as well as an appearance on Shawnna's Block Music -- effectively set up Shareefa's first album, also released on Ludacris' Def Jam-affiliated boutique label. DTP has already dubbed Point of No Return a soul classic, and though that's a longshot marketing gimmick to say the least, the album is certainly good enough to ping the radars of open-minded R&B fans who might otherwise ignore anything cosigned by a popular rapper.
