Armitage III: Dual-Matrix Video Armitage III: Dual-Matrix Movie Review Worthy return for Naomi Armitage and family The surprise with Armitage: Dual Matrix was that it arrived with very little fanfare, unlike its predecessor, the Armitage III: Poly-Matrix feature. Dual Matrix follows the lives of Naomi Armitage, Ross Sylibus, and their daughter Yoko after the events in Poly-Matrix and we get to see more of the human side of Naomi but don't doubt that you'll see the Assassin-roid aspect of our gal come out full force! The movie is directed by Katsuhito Akiyama (of Battle Athletes Daiundokai and Gall Force: Eternal Story fame) and Akiyama does a pretty good job of pulling the right emotions with the characters without having them speak out. While I prefer listening to the Japanese dialogue, Hollywood-actress Juliette Lewis does an excellent job of taking over the job of former Armitage-voiceover Elizabeth Berkeley. Fortunately, we lose Mr. Kiefer Sutherland's I'm-bored-where's-my-paycheck-gonna-arrive-for-this-job voiceover. The level of animation is pretty good, although I can't forgive the rather ugly computer 3-D animations. The storyline is tight, and we get to see another aspect of Armitage and her family's life. Maybe we'll expect a potential sequel with Armitage's daughter, Yoko? . The Limited Edition lunchbox includes the Special Edition DVD, as well as a variation of the McFarlane Armitage figure that was released a while back. Great buy if you're one of those anime fans like myself who's lunchbox and/or figurine crazy! Submitted by rrosal1 (Jacksonville, FL, USA) Was This Review Helpful? (The show airs on the Cartoon Network in the U.S.) As the film begins, Spike (Steven Jay Blum) and his gang of gypsy vigilantes are roaming the city, looking for trouble when Faye (Wendee Lee) witnesses a bioterrorist attack. Armitage III: Dual-Matrix film
$46.65 Often called the greatest stop-motion animator of all time, Ray Harryhausen was responsible for many classics of horror and science fiction, creating terrifying, fantastical creatures that arguably have yet to be rivalled by today's technology. This collection features five of Harryhausen's most loved sci-fi classics, which paved the way for generations of animators to come. First, a group of UN astronauts are convinced that they are soon to be the first to tread on the moon's surface in THE FIRST MEN IN THE MOON. That is, until they meet the mysterious Arnold Bedford (Edward Judd), who tells them of his travels thence years ago. A Venusian alien being carried as cargo by a military plane survives a crash in 20 MILLION MILES TO EARTH. Col. Calder must summon the Italian army to help fight the creature off, but it seems increasingly evident that human weapons are no match for this monster. EARTH VS. THE FLYING SAUCERS is a cult classic that pits alien drones against trigger-happy humans. When peaceable aliens arrive at an army base seeking ...
