Purchase I Want You To Know CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Carrie Underwood Play On CD (2009)
I Want You To Know
$11.17 Daisy in her hair aside, Carrie Underwood looks flat-out glamorous on the cover of PLAY ON, which is a pretty fair indication of what awaits listeners on her third album. Carrie is still nominally a country artist and sometimes will sing supported by fiddles and steel guitar, but this is crossover pop pure and simple, whether it's the thundering rhythms on the Shania-styled strut "Cowboy Casanova" or the succession of maudlin melodies on the preponderance of power ballads. Carrie takes a much stronger presence as a writer here, co-authoring seven of the 13 songs, and she's attracted to hookless showstoppers designed to showcase her powerful voice. When she sticks to tunes written solely by the professionals, PLAY ON does have some slick pleasures, ...

I Want You To Know
$11.65 Four years after her final Mercury Nashville album, LIFE GOES ON, a wiser, bloodied, but unbowed Terri Clark emerges on the THE LONG WAY HOME. This self-produced, self-released album is on her own Bare Tracks imprint, distributed by Capitol. Clark wrote or co-wrote every track on THE ...
| | Brooks & Dunn Greatest Hits Collection CD (1997)
I Want You To Know
$9.99 A greatest hits collection is almost a redundancy for this chart-topping contemporary country duo, since nearly everything they touch turns to gold (if not platinum). Nevertheless, this compilation condenses the band's catalog, including three brand new tracks, into 19 sparkling gems of country-pop, bound to please both longtime fans and curious first-timers. They're all here, from the band's stellar cover of the pop hit "My Maria" to beer-swiggin' jukebox faves like "Boot Scootin' Boogie" and "Honky Tonk Truth."
What comes across most strongly on this album is the consistency of Brooks and Dunn's work, as it moves from house-rockin' uptempo numbers to sentimental ballads without losing a step. Every track features top-notch performances from great Nashville studio musicians, state-of-the-art ...

I Want You To Know
$7.69 With a forceful but unhurried style of rapping, Lil' O get his message across in a big way on DA FAT RAT WIT DA CHEEZE. While his mindset and lyrical focus are set squarely on thug life and gangsta scenarios, the hardcore topics and ghetto-reality raps are offset by some clever touches in both the words and the music. For instance, ...

| | Elvis 'D Perfect Vibes CD (2007)
I Want You To Know
$10.15 Born in Jamaica, Elvis Downer was known as a little entertainer, his mother hails from Portland and his father from Trelawny. As a child growing up, Elvis was always singing for his family and friends. His first true love for music started when he was thirteen years old, when he was given a guitar by his Aunt, where he wrote his first song, "My Girl", which he recorded but never published. At the age of seventeen he joined Heritage Band where he sang background vocals and played the guitar. He migrated to the United States with his family in 1986, once here he contacted his cousin Jerry Harris, who at the time was working on a musical career also, and did background vocals for Jerry's first album, "Spreading All Over".Elvis continued his musical career with joining Marty Butler & the People's Heritage Band in New York where he played the guitar, did background and a few lead vocals. He released their first single "Don't change your mind" on L-Wayne Records, a label company incorporated by Elvis and friend Wayne Scott. He released his second single with Black Steel Label and covered Deborah Cox's "How did you get here", and continued recording songs for Wackie's Label, opening for Jerry Harris and Chappa Ranks. He entered the Reggae Rising Star competition at Carib located in New Rochelle, New York and placed third. He never gave up on his dream to become a singer when he put his musical career on hold to give his full attention to raising his kids, a son and two daughters. He still found the time to write songs, go to the studio late at night to lay down some tracks, sang at weddings, parties or any occasion to showcase his talent just to keep the vibe going. Elvis wrote songs about what life had handed him, things that he had experienced, things that people could relate to, especially women, on how they ...
