| Finally...
After several boring albums, it's good to see that Silkworm, one of my favorite bands from the early to mid-90's, is making interesting music with an edge to it again. This one isn't in the same league as their early stuff, but it is their best effort (by far) since 1996's Firewater. For those of you who haven't heard Silkworm, they play classic-influenced indie rock, with emotive, noodling guitar leads courtesy of guitarist Andy Cohen. Bassist Tim Midgett splits the vocal duties with Cohen.
