Come Home with Me album for sale Product Description
Come Home with Me album for sale by Cam'Ron was released May 14, 2002 on the Roc-A-Fella (USA) label. "Oh Boy" was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group. Cam'ron has been around the block a few times, having worked with Puff Daddy, Notorious B.I. G., and Ol' Dirty Bastard in his time. He's obviously learned a few things from these rap masters, as well as from bitter personal experience, as evidenced by the hygiene lesson of "On Fire Tonight," which is all about condoms, and the wearing of them, in explicit situations. Come Home with Me CD music contains a single disc with 15 songs. ...See Full Description

50 Cent Get Rich or Die Tryin' CD (2003) Top Seller

50 Cent was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN' was nominated for Best Rap Album. "In Da Club" was nominated for Best Male Rap Solo Performance and for Best Rap Song.
With its inclusion on the mega-successful 8 MILE soundtrack, 50 Cent's "Wanksta" blew up in late 2002, calling out the hypocrisies of wannabe gangstas who boast of criminal exploits that exist only in their imaginations. If anyone has the right to speak it's 50 Cent; he made his mark in the streets (not to mention newspapers) long before Eminem inked the Queens rapper to his Shady Records. In between the occasional single and album, 50 Cent has been involved in many notorious hip-hop confrontations. The too-aptly titled GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN' (which includes "Wanksta") introduces his brash, talk-it-like-he-walks-it rap style to the world at large.
50 Cent blithely cites the Bible in "Many Men (Wish Death)" while crowing about the rival who famously shot him in 2000 only to be shot himself ("cuz he got hit like I got hit and he ain't...breathin'"). From that slice of ultra-reality, he shifts to the dance-pop anthem "In Da Club." Throughout GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN', 50 Cent presents a strikingly original, raw worldview, even by the well-traveled genre's bleak and violent standards.

Jay-Z Blueprint CD (2001)
Come Home with Me CD music THE BLUEPRINT was nominated for the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" was nominated for the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance.
"Song Cry" was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Male Rap Solo Performance.
It's official. With his fifth album, aptly titled THE BLUEPRINT, Jay-Z has crowned himself the king of rap music. Laying a foundation for other MC's to follow, Jay Hova presents a lyrical masterpiece. And to make matters worse (for the competition, that is), he does so over a selection of the tightest beats (Jus Blaze, Timbaland) to come by hip-hop since fellow Brooklyn-ite Notorious B.I.G. changed the game. Jay-Z sets it off with a clear and concise statement of his purpose, "The Ruler's Back." From then on, each track dares rappers who tried to test his skills to answer back this time. There's also the cleverly worded (sort of a) love song "Girls, Girls, Girls," where Jay calls out every type of woman in the book. He limits the guest appearances to just one when he collaborates with Eminem for "Renegade." As always, classic material proves why Jay-Z retains his iconic status in the hip-hop world.

Jay-Z Blueprinty: The Gift & the Curse CDs (2002)
Come Home with Me buy CD music THE BLUEPRINT 2 was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "Excuse Me Miss" was nominated for Best Rap Song.
It's hard not to somewhat admire the guts of a rapper who would lead off his album by not merely sampling a hearty slice of the hallowed Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy" while Faith sings in the background, but by claiming Biggie's tacit approval on "A Dream." This is before he compares himself to Jesus at least three times. It's exactly this sort of unyielding confidence ever teetering on the verge of megalomaniacal arrogance that propelled Jay-Z to the pinnacle of the rap world.
As 2002 wound to a close, the prolific Sean Carter dropped the sequel to the critically lauded, platinum-selling THE BLUEPRINT; two CDs, no skits, no filler, nothing but urgent poetics over tight tracks. Jay-Z may never possess the elevated prose of his arch-rival Nas, but he knows the power in brevity, in a terse, well-turned phrase. While he's always been an eccentric sampler, on THE BLUEPRINT VOL. 2 he pares away any hint of gimmickry or excess. On "Guns And Roses," he effortlessly reconfigures a Cake instrumental as picture-perfect backdrop to a stark parable about life's duality as Lenny Kravitz wails along. Overall, THE BLUEPRINT VOL. 2 continues and builds upon the legacy of the Queens megastar MC.

Nelly Nellyville CD (2002) Top Seller

Best Rap Album. "Dilemma" (w/ Kelly Rowland) was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Award for Record Of The Year.
NELLYVILLE could fairly be billed as its creator's coming-of-age album, with a sophisticated sheen that's a world and several million dollars away from its predecessor, the hugely successful COUNTRY GRAMMAR. Confidence and an undeniable musicality are the watchwords here, from the opening title track which is a both half-sung, half-rapped statement of first principles and a tour through the artist's psyche. The infectious club track "Hot in Herre" should bring fans and Nelly neophytes alike running with its old-school chorus, while the tight, steamy textures of "Pimp Juice" show Nelly as a master of insinuating vocalese. There are the usual guest appearances, notably from Justin Timberlake on the rap/pop crossover "Work It," where Timberlake's smooth vocals are expertly used to provide a cool, stylish counterpoint to Nelly's urgent rapping. Beanie Sigel guests on the remix of "Roc the Mic" while the take-no-prisoners stomp of "On the Grind" featuring King Jacob is a reminder, if any were necessary, that no matter how sophisticated his music gets, the streets of St. Louis will always be Nelly's spiritual home.

Diplomats Diplomatic Immunity CDs (2003)
Come Home with Me CD music Principally recorded at Baseline, Quad, Sony Music, and Hit Factory Studios, New York, New York.
For his fourth release Cam'ron enlists the talents of three up-and-comers (Juelz Santana, Freeky Zeekey, and Jimmy Jones) for a colorful and extended foray through New York mores in general and those of their respective 'hoods in Harlem in particular. A typical cut, "Ground Zero," is ostensibly 9/11-related, but closer listening will reveal that it's about that gangsta staple, drugs, the thugs that deal them, and the marks that take them. There are flashes of humor amid the gritty material; "Real Ni***s," with its accompanying skit, neatly skewers the "keeping it real" philosophy, and has a smooth Gamble & Huff sample to boot.
The overall thug-life lyrical slant is leavened with other imaginative samples and arrangements of this ilk, and the double-CD format gives the posse the space to display its comedic skills over the course of several skits. DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY could easily be accused of overkill, but on this showing it just means that there's more of the Diplomats to love.

Purple Haze CD (2004)
Come Home with Me buy CD music PURPLE HAZE, Cam'Ron's fourth album, was practically introduced by the Diplomats two weeks earlier in 2004, as the Harlem, New York City MC showed off his vast empire of diverse and interesting rappers on DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY 2. Besides cementing his position as a key player in NYC hip-hop and giving him a legion of talent to draw from for his records, working with gifted, original minds like Juelz Santana and Jim Jones has sharpened young Cam'Ron's own game. The long-awaited PURPLE HAZE finds him in top form, spicing his smooth delivery with forceful, focused rhymes that flow over some of the most striking beats in the business.
Cam'Ron opens PURPLE HAZE tough as ever, swaggering through an imaginary club with Juelz, boasting fiercely over a dizzying soundtrack on "More Gangsta Music." However, Cam'Ron switches gears abruptly with a sweet (and rather obscure) Marvin Gaye sample on "Get Down." Innovative backdrops abound from the African-reggae blend on "Killa Cam" to the "Theme from Hill Street Blues" loop (used effectively, without a hint of gimmick) on "Harlem Streets." Over it all stands the imperious Cam'Ron and his dry, easy delivery, equal parts charm and brutality, holding sway over PURPLE HAZE, a highly engaging record.
