Audio Remasterers: Dave Schultz; Tim Edmondson. Liner Note Author: Rocky Petralia. Runaway Love and Other Hits, released in 2001 by the Flashback label, is a ten-track budget compilation that features ten of the more notable songs from the career of Linda Clifford, though it does not contain anything from 1985's Sneakin' Out. It also avoids a few of her chart hits, such as "Red Light" and "(It's Gonna Be) A Long, Long Winter." Unless you're certain that you only need a few songs here and nothing more, Sequel's Runaway Love: The Singles Anthology is a preferable option. Note: The content on this disc is exactly the same as what can be found on Runaway Love, released by Collectables in 2006. ~ Andy Kellman Runaway Love And Other Hits Music Linda Clifford Runaway Love And Other Hits Songs | 1. | Runaway Love | |

Following the release of the two previous R&B Sessions records, volume three in the series also offers a selection of contemporary R&B from the U.S. and U.K. Because the label claims to want to show the diversity in the 2006 definition of R&B, there is quite a bit of variety between the songs, from hip-hop (Lifesavas' "Fa' Show") to pop anthems (Blu Cantrell's "Hit 'Em Up Style") to funky soul (Soulive and Chaka Khan's "Back Again") to slow jams (D'Nell's "Lace"). Runaway Love And Other Hits
$15.95 If the Captain and Tennille were into dark progressive space rock, they might have really lit the world on fire. Thirty years later the Youngs have emerged to fill the void. Their catchy, well-crafted songs will make us all shed a tear for love and death, Seattle sadcore style. This dynamic duo (a married couple in real life) succeeds in their aim of fearlessly charting the astral regions, telling us moving tales of living and dying on a fucked-up planet like this one, with love as their backseat driver.A few ecstatic blips on the EKG are now being detected under the heavy armour of music’s dying potentials and creeping cynicism.Owing more to Grandaddy than the White Stripes, the Young's songs here conjure the melancholic beauty of a couple witnessing the end of the world. With lyrical topics ranging from futile space migrations, to the power of love in the face of being psychically vampirized by modern cities, to the Skull and Bones Society, to a beautiful ...
