Zig Zag Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Just read what I have to say... I am autistic. Asperger's to be specific. And before watching the movie, I had no idea that he had autism. But right after the first 5 minutes, by boyfriend goes, "What's your diagnosis of him?" And I said, "He's got High-Functioning Autism." (Asperger's is without the speech delay). And I just looked up the movie today to see if there was any mentioning of what was wrong with the boy, and low and behold, he has autism. I knew the whole movie just because I have it too. The movie was great, especially since I have autism, I liked the "Big-Brother" thing too. My boyfriend was at first not liking the movie, and I was just glued to it. But a little bit longer into the movie, it caught his interest too. So we both liked it, and it is very inspirational. I give it 5 stars because it incorporates a lot of real life stuff into it, and the fact that medical professionals are not always needed, just help. | | Billy Cobham Spectrum CD (1973) (Import) Bonus Track; England; Sweden
Zig Zag film
$12.65 This 2001 digipak reissue contains 10 tracks remastered from the original analogue tapes.
Drummer Billy Cobham was fresh from his success with the Mahavishnu Orchestra when he recorded his debut album, which is still his best. Most of the selections showcase Cobham in a quartet with keyboardist Jan Hammer, guitarist Tommy Bolin, and electric bassist Lee Sklar. Two other numbers include Joe Farrell on flute and soprano and trumpeter Jimmy Owens with guitarist John Tropea, Hammer, bassist Ron Carter, and Ray Barretto on congas. The generally high-quality compositions (which include "Red Baron") make this fusion set a standout, a strong mixture of rock-ish rhythms and jazz improvising. ~ Scott Yanow
Spectrum is an instrumental jazz fusion release from the great drummer Billy Cobham, who wrote all the tunes on the record, which many critics and fans consider to be his best. Fresh from his success with the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cobham delivers high-quality compositions (which include 'Quadrant 4' and 'Red Baron) make this fusion set a standout, ...
| | Pink I'm Not Dead CD (2006) DualDisc
Zig Zag review
$17.49 This is a DualDisc, which contains a CD on one side of the disc and a DVD on the other.
Pink deserves a lot of credit for overturning everyone's expectations. After emerging in 2000 with a debut full of club-ready, R&B-influenced dance-pop, she moved on to genre-hopping hybrids (MISSUNDAZTOOD) and punk-inflected rock (TRY THIS). 2006's I'M NOT DEAD resumes Pink's game of stylistic hopscotch, as she skitters skillfully from arena rock to hip-hop-influenced jams to thoughtful folk to well-crafted pop.
Remarkably, these genre experiments work well together, and stand as a testament to Pink's unwillingness to fit into any music industry mold. Whether ...

| | Tommy Bolin Whips And Roses II CD (2006)
Zig Zag movie DVD
$14.59 This is the acid test. When Whips and Roses was released in April of 2006, it was a revelatory collection, showcasing many high quality -- performance and sound-wise -- alternate takes and demos of material that appeared on Tommy Bolin's Teaser in particular. All of these cuts came from a box found by Bolin's brother John and given to producer Greg Hampton. That there is a second volume makes even the hardcore fan a bit wary. What's here will not disappoint the veteran Bolin collector, but it will probably put off first-time listeners (simply because there are a couple of really dodgy sounding live cuts at the end.) In places this is stretching it., but not too much. There are four different takes of songs from Teaser -- "People, People," "The Grind," "Homeward Strut," and "Lotus" -- and yet another outtake of the left-off "Crazed Fandango." In addition, there are six other tracks, most of which are jam band-oriented, including the 14-plus minute "Bagit ...
