4 stars Enjoyable
The familiar tunes are given powerful performances by Sutton Foster, Gavin Creel and the ensemble. My favorite, "Gimme Gimme", starts off with a tender yearning and finishes with a big WOW. Loved it!Also an outstanding rendition of "Not For the Life of Me". There are a couple of songs that feel like fillers, but for the most part a fun musical to listen to.
