Wolfen Movie Review Average Rating: (3.3 out of 5 stars) Watch it at night, by yourself! I don't know how anyone could give this movie 2 stars. This is one of the scariest flicks I've ever seen. Directed by the same man who directed Woodstock. Can you say, What up?
I only gave it 4 stars, because of some
special effects. These wolves, are not wolves at all, which is why nobody has noticed them. Did the 2-star person even watch this movie. Submitted by dwatts (Anaheim, CA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
not too good wolfen is not a werewolf movie, it concerns wolves that prey on society's outcasts in the ghettos of newyork. Some how these wolves have lived in newyork without anyone noticing them. The film has a slightly political tone to it and some good performances but the pace of the film will certainly test your patience and in the end I felt cd universe gave a great price for the dvd even if the film was a little boring. good modern horror film Just a look at the title and picture on the cover might make you think it's a movie with endless slayings and no brains involved in the plot. But it's pretty intellegent and the gore is kept to a minimum. The picture quality isn't bad either. I prefer this over the other two killer-wolf movies of 1981 (three in one year!) "An American Werewolf in London" and "the Howling". That's my opinion. Many may disagree. Submitted by a reviewer (florence) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$9.69 The grisly and debauched film PATHOLOGY is a juiced-up medical thriller that plays like FLATLINERS with a mean streak and a broken moral compass. Writers Mark Nelvedine and Brian Taylor have created a premise allowing for CSI-like forensics along with heaps of sex and violence, truly making the most of the film's R-rating. A high-end exploitation film with good performances, PATHOLOGY is strong enough for horror fans and should go down smoothly for non-squeamish viewers with a taste for the dark side.
Gifted med student Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia, HEROES) arrives at a major Washington, D.C., as an intern, where he is met with suspicion and resentment by the tightly knit group of fellow young pathologists-in-training. Soon, though, Ted is accepted into their circle---where they each take turns committing a murder so that the others may prove their mettle by figuring out the cause of death and celebrate with drug-fueled orgies among the dead bodies in the hospital. Things change for Ted, though, when his law student fiancée, Gwen (Alyssa Milano), moves to the city and helps to scare him straight. Soon, crazed Wallace Stevens-quoting leader Jake Gallo (Michael Weston) turns on ...

$8.05 Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) continue their battle against the machines in THE MATRIX RELOADED, the second chapter of Larry and Andy Wachowski's MATRIX trilogy. As RELOADED begins, Neo, Trinity, and Morpheus arrive in Zion with new crew member Link (Harold Perrineau), and discover that 250,000 dreaded sentinels are close to launching a massive attack on the underground haven for the liberated minds of humanity. When Neo seeks advice from the prophetic Oracle (the late Gloria Foster), their meeting leads to a sorely outnumbered fight with Neo's old nemesis, Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving). While the sentinels advance on Zion, various battles within the Matrix continue to escalate, culminating in an extended highway chase sequence involving Morpheus, Trinity, more imposing agents, and two new adversaries--the relentless white-clad Twins (Adrian and Neil Rayment).
With RELOADED, the Wachowski brothers delve deeper into both the realm of the Matrix and the apocalyptic, machine-controlled future reality. Initially giving ample attention to both the romance between Neo and Trinity ...
