Recorded during a 2002 live concert, this shows Molly Hatchet in full rocking mode and, while lacking some pepper and zest, contains a good percentage of their biggest hits. ~ Rob Theakston
This is most definitely not the way to get into Molly Hatchet and experience their brand of Southern rock brilliance in its full splendor. Recorded during a 2002 live concert, it shows the Hatchet in full rocking mode but lacks the pepper and zest of other live recordings the band has issued. Although containing a good percentage of their biggest hits, this recording is strictly for diehards only. Casual listeners would be much better off investing a few dollars more and seeking 2003's outstanding Greatest Hits Live for a much more pleasing orientation. ~ Rob Theakston Molly Hatchet Extended Versions Songs Extended Versions Music Review Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars) Raw energy The band is tight and drives home some very serious rock and roll. The mix is a little rough but the CD is well worth the price. Submitted by abatar (Irving, TX) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Extended Versions songs
$10.49 (MP3 Available for Download) Blackfoot was always the heaviest of the great Southern rock movement, and on Siogo(reputedly either a Native American word for "closeness" or a crude groupie acronym, probably the latter) the boys try to break into the metal market and regain their brief hold on American ...
| | Blackfoot Highway Song Live CD (1982)
Extended Versions album
$10.49 (MP3 Available for Download) Like their Native American ancestors before them, the members of Blackfoot must have known what it felt like to be exiled from their homeland. Only, rather than being forced into an Indian reservation, the world's first all-Native American hard rock band found itself trying to scrape together a good wage across the pond, where U.K. audiences couldn't seem to get enough of its uniquely metallic, Skynyrd-derived Southern rock. Despite experiencing diminishing returns in the good ol' U.S. of A., ...
| | Molly Hatchet Locked And Loaded CDs (2003)
Extended Versions CD music
$12.39 They're not as universally known or respected as Lynyrd Skynyrd are, but Southern rockers Molly Hatchet have been on the road for nearly as long and continue to rock on-stage, as evidenced by the 2003 double-disc set Locked and Loaded. Unlike their "big brothers" in Skynyrd, though, Hatchet contained more apparent ties to heavy metal -- especially in their album cover artwork (which often depicts Conan-like warriors doing their thang), as well ...
| | Henry Paul Feel The Heat CD (1980)
Extended Versions MP3 Album
$10.49 Whatever happened to Henry Paul between the release of his band's debut album in 1979 and Feel the Heat in 1980 wasn't healthy. Whereas Grey Ghost was a record full of influences ranging from the Eagles to the Byrds to the Allmans and Lynyrd Skynrd tossed into a Southern-fried salad with Paul's own country, rock, and folk sensibilities, Feel the Heat feels like jarhead, clichéd Southern boogie rock. All the gorgeous harmonies, complex dynamics, tight songs, and sparking arrangements have been tossed over in favor of a heavy-handed collection of tired riffs, stupid lyrics, and themes that are saturated with drinking, picking up girls, and yeah, ...
| | Henry Paul Anytime CD (1981)
Extended Versions music CDs
$10.49 With Anytime in 1981, Henry Paul had thankfully stepped back from the precipice of the abyss that idiot biker rock bands fall into. Members of his original group continued to leave, as now both Jim Fish and organist Barry Rapp were out, though Rapp appears here as a guest, as does Joe Lala, who was an unofficial member. Anytime is a wild amalgam of musical excess; while "Living Without Your Love" echoed both Loverboy and Duran Duran, "Hollywood Paradise" felt more like Sammy Hagar hanging out with Saxon. It does seem that the band found a balance of writing tough and accessible pop songs and keeping its harder rock edge in much the same way that .38 Special had done with "Hold on Loosely." Take ...
