By elly (japan)  (1) (0) Helpful? What's in the box?!?!?!?!?!? Okay, everybody knows that Quentin Tarentino is a couple sandwiches short of a picnic, but "Pulp Fiction" is a fantastic movie. Pulp Fiction movie His disregard to the way time flows is a bit offsetting at first run through--Wait, wasn't he killed in the previous scene?--and his manipulation of scripture may be the cause of a few heated arguments with your local clergy, but all in all this is a great film with a spectacular cast and an outstanding soundtrack. But, two words of caution: 1)make sure the kids are asleep or out of the house before you put this movie in, unless you're ready to explain why Uma has a hypo sticking out of her chest. The violence and drug usage is in your face through the entire movie, 2)If buying "Pulp Fiction" on DVD and you have a problem with Tarentino's idosyncratic thought processes like I do, DO NOT watch the movie with director's commentary audio---use the director's commentary subtitles instead.
