Khold's debut album made a stand in the extreme metal world as it created a spectral of modern black metal by incorporating the 80's blasphemes sounds of Bathory, Venom and Celtic Frost. The new album The Phantom is built on that but comes forth as tighter and more focused and offers a better production courtesy of the The Livingroom studios. 9 tracks. Moonfog. 2002.
Khold: Gard (vocals, guitar); Rinn (guitar); Sir Graanug (bass); Sarke (drums).

Phantom album
$17.59 Anyone familiar with the industrial-metal band's dark sense of irony should take one look at the title of Rammstein's 2009 album LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA ("Love Is There For Everyone") and conclude that this one is a mean monster. Combining the tightness and punch of their 1998 album SEHNSUCHT with the musicianship and elaborate textures of their later work, LIEBE IST is a grand achievement, skillfully dividing its time between razor sharp metal rockers like "B********" or the opening theme song "Rammlied" and nostalgic, cabaret pieces that conjure the spirits of Weil and Brecht at a goth club. Best of the latter is the naked and haunting closer "Roter Sand" but little touches of a sinister ...

Phantom CD music
$16.09 When SONIC BOOM was released, it had been over a decade since the last Kiss studio album, so expectations were understandably high. In addition, the intervening period had seen the band fire two of its founding members for the second time, only to replace them with sidemen wearing Ace Frehley and Peter Criss's iconic makeup. Luckily, the new additions, unlike some of Kiss's "un-masked years" members, have a good feel for classic Kiss. That fact, ...

Phantom music CDs
$10.15 "...the album has a great quality.... doesn't matter which song you play" - Radio 794, the Netherlands"We love this CD..." - PBS 106.7 FM, Melbourne, Australia"Enclosed is my recent radio play list which features your excellent material..." - 94. 1 FM Radio 2, Skopje, Macedonia --------Put 3 smokin' players with decades of top-shelf experience together and you have KG3. Lloyd Poole-drums, vocals is a West Coast native, came of age in late 60's San Francisco and has played with many international rock stars. Lloyd has toured the world 3 times and he toured with Sugarloaf in the mid-70's. He has played with current and/or former members of Ozzy Osbourne, Santana, Journey, Night Ranger, Steppenwolf, the Doobie Brothers and many others. He has shared the stage with Heart, Van Morrison, Aerosmith, Tower of Power, the Youngbloods and many others. Tom Mullin-lead guitar, vocals hails from the heartland and has toured with Dennis Provisor of Grass Roots fame. His boyhood friend and former band mate John 'JR' Robinson is now considered the world's most recorded drummer and has performed with just about everyone who is anyone in pop music, including Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Barbra Streisand and a very long list of others. Newcomer Mike Keesal-bass, vocals spent 15 years working the L.A. metal scene and more recently worked the Seattle scene, studying guitar with Roger Fisher of Heart fame. KG3 formed in 2003 soon after original bassist Tony Hartness met Lloyd on North Whidbey Island. Lloyd had returned to Whidbey, where he spent much of his youth, after retiring from 3 decades of extensive full-time performing, wanting to live the quiet island life. Through a mutual acquaintance Tony met Tom, also on hiatus from decades of performing, who had recently moved to Whidbey from the upper Midwest by way of Portland Oregon and Salt Lake City Utah. Lloyd agreed to jam with Tony and Tom one time only and expected that would be the end of it, but the chemistry, musicianship and companionship kept him coming back for more and soon blossomed into KG3. KG3 began recording Not So Much, their debut CD, in September 2004 and after countless marathon recording, listening, mixing and mastering sessions in the band's own studio, sent the master to be manufactured in October 2005. On Halloween, the 2nd anniversary of KG3's first public performance, they played the CD music live in published song order to a capacity crowd at the same nearby pub where Lloyd and Tony first met. The response was overwhelmingly positive, encouraging the band to further promote the CD. Tony resigned from KG3 in March 2006 due to flagging health. Disappointed but not to be deterred, Lloyd and Tom began searching in earnest for a suitable replacement ...

Phantom songs
$7.99 In the summer of 2002 vocalist Zack Pearson joined the remaining members of the Tacoma metal band SBI (Surrounded By Idiots) which consisted of Tracey Beardsley (guitar), James Duterrow (bass guitar), and Jerod Wallace (drums). Together they formed Utterance. James and Tracey have been playing together for more than ten years. During the search for the right musicians for the job, they stumbled upon Jerod Wallace, which brought together the musical foundation that Utterance is known best for. A few short years later, Zack Pearson was added to the band, bringing the voice of Utterance. And since 2002 Utterance has gone leaps and bounds to make sure that the Pacific Northwest knows that Tacoma will be heard. In December of 2006 Dan Hatfield stepped up to play bass. Dan brings Everything that Utterance has had in the past, plus something new to take the band even further. With influences like Slayer, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Deftones, Suicidal Tendencies, Faith No more, and Helmet, Utterance strives to create a sound that will impress their ...
