P.M.S the idea began long before the band or music ever existed. Back in their high school days Ryan Haig and Vincent Ortiz hung out with their best friend Naresh Dugal. During some joking around, Naresh decided to name their crew Funky Monkey Spankers. Ryan and Vince would often go to Naresh’s house and jam with their guitars along with Naresh’s brother Mahesh. After a few years of knowing each other and casual jammin' with their guitars, Ryan came by and played an original song of his, Advice. Everyone was impressed and decided then and there that they have got to get this music out. Soon they recorded an acoustic version of the song using their home camcorder, and then began to send the video to their friends to see what kind of reaction they would get.
