| | Cranberries Stars: The Best Of 1992-2002 CD (2002)
Escape From Sobibor DVD
$10.45 STARS is a collection containing several different single versions, new edits and 2 previously unreleased tracks.
After hitting the top of the U.S, alternative charts with their debut album, EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT SO WHY CAN'T WE?, with its inescapable hit singles "Dreams" and "Linger," the Cranberries could easily have carved out a career staying with that initial sound, one that came off like a much more commercial version of the Cocteau Twins. That they didn't do, instead introducing their second album with a harsh political protest song called "Zombie" that perhaps lost them some sales but spoke well of their artistic ideals. STARS: THE BEST OF THE CRANBERRIES 1992-2002 is a solid overview of the Irish group's singles from throughout their career, from the early hits to worthy later gems such as "This Is The Day." STARS: THE BEST OF THE CRANBERRIES 1992-2002 was also released in a limited-edition version that added a DVD of music videos and other material.

Escape From Sobibor video
$10.49 This relatively little-known film is widely hailed by fans of the macabre. Truly ahead of its time, NIGHTMARE ALLEY is set in the gritty, surrealistic world of traveling carnivals, where eccentric people of all possible varieties interact on a daily basis. In a departure from his usual roles as the Hollywood leading man, handsome Tyrone Power plays a morally questionable circus apprentice determined to climb the carnival ladder no matter ...

Escape From Sobibor DVD
$7.75 A THOUSAND ACRES, director Jocelyn Moorhouse's screen adaptation of Jane Smiley's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, finds skeins of KING LEAR-like conflict running through the bedrock of a midwestern family. Jason Robards stars as Larry Cook, a powerful, stoic Iowa farmer who decides to retire and split his 1000 acres of land among his three daughters. His two eldest daughters, Rose (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Ginny (Jessica Lange), live and work on the farm and happily accept the lucrative agreement, while the youngest, Larry's favorite, Caroline (Jennifer Jason Leigh), has abandoned farming life for a law career in Des Moines and refuses to take part in the deal. Initially, Larry is consumed with rage and shuts out Caroline while Rose and Ginny go about running the farm with their dutiful but greedy husbands. However, as Larry begins to lose touch with his farming life, he loses touch with reality, and his painful descent into madness leaves him bitterly opposed to his daughters' ways of running the farm. Paranoid and disillusioned, he decides to sue Rose and Ginny with Caroline's help in an effort to regain his patriarchal control. The lawsuit divides the family forever, leaving Rose and Ginny to suffer alone while realizing painful memories from their childhood. As Rose and Ginny discover their own individual ...

Escape From Sobibor movie DVD
$5.79 Paleontologist Alan Grant (Sam Neill) has sworn never to return to Jurassic Park. But he needs funding for his research, so when a wealthy thrill-seeking couple (William H. Macy and Téa Leoni) come calling, Grant and his protégée, Billy (Alessandro Nivola), agree to take them on a sightseeing flight. By the time Grant finds out what their true purpose is--to land on the island and search for their missing son--all of their lives are in peril. And Grant's newfound theory about Raptor intelligence will have its deadly proof.
Joe Johnston was the right director to take over Steven Spielberg's JURASSIC PARK series. He's experienced with special effects, having worked on the STAR WARS films, while his OCTOBER SKY demonstrates his skill at telling an emotionally involving tale. In JURASSIC PARK 3, with the help of a top-notch technical team and a talented cast (who began filming before the script was finished, improvising much of their dialogue), and a new dinosaur, Spinosaurus, that makes even T-Rex nervous, Johnston has fashioned a rousing adventure with state-of-the-art visuals. Clocking in at a tense 92 minutes, it's the fastest-moving, most action-packed film of the series.
Paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) devoted his entire life to the study of dinosaurs, but he never imagined he'd have to be face-to-face with them, again. Eight years later, InGen's debacle as well as the political and economic climate have taken their toll in the area of dinosaur research, as public and ...
