Drugstore's Rockin', Vol. 2 album
$14.29 Hard to Find Pop Instrumentals, Vol. 2 is a 21-song collection of instrumentals from the early '50s to the late '60s. The disc is overflowing with memorable memories drawn from a wide range of styles, including Western themes ("Apache" by Jorgen Ingmann and "The Bonanza Theme" by Al Caiola), jazz ("Alley Cat" by the improbably named Bent Fabric & His Piano), middle-of-the-road ...

Drugstore's Rockin', Vol. 2 CD music
$17.19 Recorded in 1977, 1980, 1996 and 1999. Includes liner notes by Colin Escott.
While the album's title is deceiving -- all but five of the 18 tracks on this double disc originate from the '90s, and 11 of those are from the same show -- this is an adequate, well-recorded document of both the original and re-formed versions of Foghat running through their established repertoire. Still, the group retains most of their original ...

$14.49 This compilation contains the Maddox Brothers & Rose original recordings from 1946 to 1951.
The Maddox Brothers and Rose first started recording in 1946 for the tiny 4-Star label, and it was there that they cut their most uninhibited sides, in the years immediately after World War II, freely mixing comedy, raw hillbilly sounds (including elements of what would later evolve into ...
