| One of the most important metal bands around
If you are looking for actual music with deep meaning in your metal and can appreciate amazing musicianship, pick this up before it goes completely out of print. (the band doesn't exist anymore ). Other recommendations: MESHUGGAH, Cynic, Death, Candiria and more Meshuggah. Do yourself a favor: advance a bit, intellectualy and spiritualy. Otherwise, keep watching your MTV. "..never stray from the common lines.."

| No tan malo como dicen
Aborrecido y malentendido, el último trabajo discográfico de Pestilence no tiene nada que ver con el bisoño aunque potente death metal de los inicios de esta banda. Afincado más en terrenos experimentales, en el uso de guitarras sintetizadas y de un sinnúmero de procesadores de sonido, Spheres quiere ser artístico en forma descarada pero se queda en las intenciones. Muchos fanáticos lo ven como un pálido reflejo de lo que en su tiempo fue Focus, el único disco de Cynic y una de las obras más grandiosas del tech metal. Pestilence quiso fusionar death metal, jazz y avant garde pero no logró cuajar bien los ingredientes. El tufillo de grandielocuencia también ofendió los oídos metaleros. A pesar de todo ello, el disco no es malo y ofrece buenos momentos. Además, el deseo de experimentación siempre es bienvenido.
