TANYA DENNIS "WATERDANCE"(THE SHORT STORY)Its seldom a multi-talented entertainer comes along with credentials as impressive as TANYA DENNIS!Now just back from Berlin and preparing for a 2004 European Tour, Tanya is riding high on the momentum generated by "APARTMENT #9".TANYA, NASHVILLE side women, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist turned recording artist has paid her dues the old fashioned way over a 30 year span of touring with and opening for major Country Artists such as FAITH HILL, Texas Legendary Swing Band ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL, LEANN RIMES, REBA Mc ENTIRE, WADE HAYES, LITTLE TEXAS and multiple Grammy Award Winner JANIE FRICKIE, not to mention several of America's premiere Artist/writers SKIP EWING, DAVE GIBSON,EDDIE RAVEN and Grand Ole Opry Legend WHISPERING BILL ANDERSON. TANYA'S talent for playing fiddle, mandolin and rhythm guitar and of course adding her impeccable voice to support these world class artists all over the United States forged her many gifts into one mean entertainment machine. In addition, she has written and produced records and commercials for other artists and prominent corporations such as Mazda, Safeway Foods, and most recently, PAX Television Network. Many song writers have utilized Tanya's voice and fiddling to promote their songs in the viciously competitive song writing market in Nashville. With the release of her first CD "WATERDANCE" Tanya was voted the "1999 European Female Rising Star" Award by radio programmers and fans worldwide as tabulated by WWW.Onlinecountry.com and presented with the award in Nashville in October 1999. Tanya wrote or co-wrote all but one song on this CD. She also co-produced the project. In February 2000 "WATERDANCE" was also nominated for "Country CD Of The Year" and "Song of the Year" for both "Suspect Angel" and "The Bad Things You Do" by the online music magazine Just Plain Folks at WWW.Justplainfolks.COM . This organization is made up of music industry writers, musicians, producers and label executives and is 25,000 strong and growing. This began the odyssey for Tanya that she had dreamed of her entire life of being given the opportunity to travel the globe as an Entertainer in her own right and sharing her music from the world stage. Beginning in 2002, TANYA has been winning hearts and ears all over Sweden, Norway, Lapland and Denmark. She has also had the honor of lending her talents to the bands of other well known artists in Europe while on tour.In the spring of 2003 TANYA recorded and co-produced her second CD "APARTMENT #9" in preparation for her summer tour of Sweden. The CD has exposed yet another side of Tanya that has pleased many critics and fans. HARD CORE TRADITIONAL COUNTRY! Unlike the eclectic "WATERDANCE", "APARTMENT #9" is country to the bone. Rave reviews from Sweden to the United States acclaim "APARTMENT #9" as a serious CD to be reckoned with. Tanya covers cornerstone country artists including Tammy Wynette and Vern Gosdin to name a few and does it with piercing honesty and originality. Her self-penned single "I Cant Feel A Thing," is scheduled to be released to world radio in early summer 2004.

At first, Shane performed the music of his heroes: George Strait, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams (Sr. and Jr.) and Elvis Presley.
