Turnin' Up The HEAT!!! With their extensive catalogue, there are all kinds of compilations from the different labels they called home. Some good and some bad compilations. Lots of Ike & Tina to choose from out there. None of them have the consistent flow of this treasure! You get the obscure "Too Much Woman" covered by the
Faces with Rod Stewart in their early gigs, The Chopper, clearly a missed opportunity for a hit single along with hits "I Wanna Take You Higher" along with "Come Together"/"Honky Tonk Women" and the thing of it is, no matter if it's a hit or an obscure l.p. track you haven't heard in years, it's Tina at her fiery best! If you only buy one Ike and Tina cd for your collection, you wouldn't go wrong with this set. Ike's blazing guitar is as good as it gets and Tina is clearly turnin up the HEAT!
