| Simply a dream
I have many dvd of Tosca because is for me one of the most beautiful and sentimental operas in my opinion. But this one, is realy greate, Renate Tebaldi and George London make of this performance, an unforghettable Tosca. Recorded live, gave me many times special emotions to see how she was considered by the public. Greate...realy greate.

| Tebaldi's TOSCA...
...is a very valuable performance. Renata was never a great actress but she sounds great and her Tosca is very feminine. Tosca was certainly HER role and her successes in this part were always great. here her voice is in a very good shape and noone should be disappointed. London is a strong Scarpia, he's "crudele" but also "tanto cortese", one of best suited voices for the part. Tobin was not a star but had a handsome voice and sounds very well. in two words: get it.
