REANIMATION is an album of remixes of songs from HYBRID THEORY.
The runaway success of Linkin Park's debut album HYBRID THEORY was a phenomenon the rock world had seldom seen since Guns 'N Roses turned the rock world on it's ear with APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION. With the band preparing a follow-up, an eclectic assembly of both underground and mainstream contributors de- and re-construct the music of Linkin Park on REANIMATION, under the direction of bandmember Mike Shinoda.
While the requisite remixes are present, REANIMATION is not your typical remix album. Black Thought (of the Roots) chops up Linkin Park samples for his own rap spotlight on "X-Ecutioner Style," an approach also taken up on "H! Vltg3" by Pharoahe Monch and Dilated Peoples members Evidence and DJ Babu. "Enth E End" gets reinvented by veteran producer Kurtmaster Kurt, with verses laid down by the up-and-coming MC Motion Man. Korn's Jonathan Davis embellishes "1Stp Klosr" with his slow-boiling intensity, while Staind's Aaron Lewis adds emotive harmony vocals to "Krwling." The enhanced portion of the disc includes a music video for "Pts. Of Athrty," as well as links to an internet tool kit that guides fans in the creation of Linkin Park fan sites.
This is not just another remix album. All the songs of Hybrid Theory have been reinterpreted, plus 'High Voltage' and 'My December.' Just a few of the remixers/featured artists (since the list is so long) include Jay Gordon (Orgy), Evidence (Dilated Peoples), Aaron Lewis (Staind), Chali 2Na (Jurassic 5) & Black Thought (the Roots). Great mix of music. Mixing Rap, techno, and rock does not take away fromt eh original tracks. If you liked the original Hybrid Theory, then get this CD it just expands on it for the BETTER! Waiting anxiously for Linkin Parks next album!!!!!

Hybrid Theory Was Awesome! The Fact that they released a remix album 2 hybrid theory is 2wice as awesome!! Linkin Park Exceeds farther than any band i no of. if u was hesitant bout gettin' dis cd, HESITATE NO MORE!!!!!!! This Cd is Da Bomb!! My Personal Fav's were: FRGT/10, EN TH E ND, MY_DSMBR, KRWLING, AND 1STP KLOSR. Trust Me, after u hear just one song, u'll b hooked!!!

The Best Remix I Ever Heard
Linkin Parks REANIMATION is one of the best remix cd's i have heard in awhile it's basicaly HYBRID THEORY just techno style. With a new track "My December" This CD is one of there best CD's made so far. I recomend this CD for any true linkin Park fan

For once I found a sophomore album that was just as good as the first one. And yes I know the tracks are mostly the same but there is some new ones some people may not have heard. Also the quality of the cd itself seems almost like it's been digitally enhanced, it's crystal clear. Definitely sent shivers up my spine. So check it out.
