Christmas Oratorio
$15.17 A live performance available as either a BluRay or a DVD/CD set, Live in Barcelona captures Il Divo's April 3, 2009, performance at Palau Sant Jordi. The video portions contain the complete 24-track performance; the CD is a truncated ten-cut sampler, designed as a bonus rather than the main attraction. That main attraction is the extravaganza captured on video, where the operatic quartet runs through all manners of pop standards -- "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Unbreak My Heart," "Nights in White Satin," "The Winner Takes It All," "My Way," "The Impossible Dream" -- sometimes translating the lyrics out of English so they feel more like opera. Naturally, this live set won't convince doubters, but those who have loved any of the group's five studio albums will find this a satisfying spectacle.

Christmas Oratorio
$11.15 The songs on this album are a unique collection of original art songs. Mrs. Leonard deals with a heavily documented 19th century psychic. Some Day captures the spirit of a young high school girl. Other songs include lyrics by such great writers and poets as Robert Burns, Victor Hugo, Hemingway, E.B. Browning, Yeats, Auden, and Graham Winston. Craig Morrow taught chorus, music theory, and private piano lessons in Long Island, for over thirty years. During this time he completed his Ph.D. in piano performance at New York University. Part of the thesis included an original monodrama in which Dr. Morrow portrayed the 19th century piano virtuoso, Franz Liszt. The play was performed at the Taubman Institute at Amherst College in 1987. Excerpts are soon to be placed on a web site. In 1985 Craig Morrow received first place honors in the Bach Tricentennial Award of the International Recording Competition of the American College of Musicians. He has performed piano concertos with the Seattle Symphony and University of Washington Symphony Orchestra. In addition Dr. Morrow has performed piano recitals at Lincoln Center Library, Amherst College, WNYC Concert Series, Patchogue PAMAC Concert Series, Queens College, and Yale University. Now that Dr. Morrow is newly retired and living in Cooperstown, he has begun work on a book, Cracking the Codes of Romantic Piano Music. He is also preparing an updated version of his original monodrama based on the life of Franz Liszt.
