Maysa Out Of The Blue Songs Out Of The Blue Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Maysa simply being Maysa... Everything she touches turns to gold. The consumate professional who knows her craft. Research any projects past and present i.e. Incognito, Rhythm Logic, Bona Fide, Club 1600 (Rex Rideout) and you'll find Maysa's voice is indescribable, the texture, power, depth. Simply earcandy...her phrasing, vocalizing, pefect pitch, tonation, range, conviction and raw emotion. She's one of few singers that could hold court with the likes of Phoebe Snow, Chaka Khan, and Lisa Fischer. Like the aforementioned singers, Maysa can sing various genres of music and receive high marks everytime. Maysa is at home singing ballads, funk, uptempo, jazz, nu-groove, and even arias. A one-of-a-kind talent!!! Submitted by a reviewer (Mike in Miami) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.

The Queen of Jazz Funk has done it again!!! I've had the pleasure of hearing this CD and it is by far the best of Maysa yet. There is something for everyone, whether you want to get your groove on, kick back and relax or just listen to some soul stirring music. This CD is definitely a must have if you are a "quality" music connoisseur. Submitted by a reviewer (Queens, NY) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
