Closed Captioned; Bio/Filmographies; Soundtrack English; Soundtrack French; Director's Comments; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re Based on the novel by Armistead Maupin, TALES OF THE CITY chronicled the lives of six apartment dwellers in a complex owned by an eccentric during the 1970s. This second sequel (following MORE TALES OF THE CITY) to the original finds the 1970s over and the 1980s just beginning. Set in 1981, FURTHER TALES once again follows the residents of landlady Anna Madrigal's building, who have all matured since the last installment of the series. Mary Ann (Linney) has become a career woman focused on becoming a TV journalist and has even persuaded former ladies' man Brian to settle down with her. A few new faces from beyond Barbary Lane change the look of the series, but Mr. Maupin's combination of big city life and small town relationships help keep FURTHER TALES just as charming and engrossing as the original. The plot has Lupin and Jigen traveling to the sleepy little country of Cagliostro and coming to the aid of the unwilling fiance of the diabolical ...

$4.25 In one of his rare departures from the realm of comedy, Cary Grant stars along with Irene Dunne in this sentimental tale about the marriage of Roger and Julie Adams.Told in flashbacks by Julie as she considers divorce, the film limns the couple's earlier years, when her reluctant journalist boyfriend finally proposes after being posted in Japan by the newspaper where he works. When Julie joins him after a three-month delay, she announces that she's pregnant, and is greatly concerned by Roger's rash spending habits. Shortly thereafter, their house is destroyed by an earthquake, ...

$24.25 A must for all Genesis fans, GENESIS - DEFINITIVE CRITICAL REVIEW contains the following individual releases.
GENESIS A CRITICAL REVIEW 1975-1980: A crucial turning point in the careers of Genesis came in 1975, when Peter Gabriel quit the band and drummer Phil Collins assumed vocal duties. This documentary takes a look at a tumultuous time for the band, which resulted in them becoming bigger than ever before. Collins' commercial savvy saw the group deftly combine their psychedelic leanings with a populist edge, leading them out of the clubs and into the stadiums of the world.
