This is the best yellowcard album and yellowcard is quite possibly one of the greatest bands ever. This EP is short but has all the best songs.

Back Before Yellowcard was crap
this cd is easily their best cd. it featured them before they got all crappy and poppy. Underdog is a good song to start this cd off, i listened to this ep so many times the last two yeras of HS and still listen to it now. If u like this cd i would recommend One For The Kids, it has similar sound to it, but if this is your first yellowcard cd be prepared to be dissapointed when u hear ocean avenue cause it will just sound horrible

Unlike some of the other reviewers, "Underdog" is actually my least favorite Yellowcard song (still puts it above most every song from most other bands). That's probably because I'm significantly older than your average Yellowcard fan and a few years removed from high school. However, "Avondale" is an amazing track and one of my favorite Yellowcard songs. And tracks 3-5 follow it up well. So, with something for everyone, you should definitely check this one out. These guys are worth it!

This pop-punk outfit started out young--VERY young. They were still in their teens when they released their first album, and this one--their third--naturally finds them still flush with youthful enthusiasm but bearing distinct signs of songwriting maturity. There's no slowdown of excitement on STAY WHAT YOU ARE--the band still practices four-on-the-floor, heavy-guitar punk-pop a la Green Day or Blink-182. Yellowcard's One for the Kids is a power punk album full of hooks and catchy choruses as strong as any of the syrupy sweet punk bands around southern California, except that Yellowcard is from Florida. Nevertheless, Yellowcard's take on punk is a bit different (but isn't that what punk is all about anyway?), as one of the major instruments incorporated on the album is the electric violin. It truly adds a whole new dynamic to the album, as it seems more like the Dave Matthews Band at some points rather than Lagwagon or New Found Glory.
