Closed Captioned; Additional Footage; Bio/Filmographies; Soundtrack English; Soundtrack French; Academy Awards; English Subtitles Robert Zemeckis scored a huge hit with 1985's BACK TO THE FUTURE, a film that became a genuine 1980s classic and began a successful trilogy. Taking the teen comedy a place it had never been before, on a trip to the 1950s via the 1980s, and fusing it with a time travel adventure, the film quickly became a blockbuster and established itself as a high point of 1980s pop culture. This special boxed set contains all three of Marty McFly's and Doc Brown's adventures traveling back and forth between the 1950s, the 1980s, and the 19th and 21st centuries in Doc's customized DeLorean. Great set, if not for... ...the poor framing, which is absolutely unforgiveable. Fortunately, Universal is re-releasing the widescreen in Feb. to correct the mistakes. Submitted by a reviewer (Mexico City) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A roller-coaster ride of action and thrills!! I own this trilogy and keep reaching for it. Very fun and great for the entire family!! It's only a shame that Micheal J. Fox won't be making any more movies!! Action packed all the way!!!! Submitted by Mary Jane (Lebanon, KY--) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Not True widescreen This DVD is a must have. Although plesae note this. The widescreen that is offered is not true widescreen.
The full screen version has the original hight of the picture. The Widescreen version has more side picture but less picture in height because to fit a 16x9 tv they lopped off a few inches of the bottom of the picture.
I watched both and if you don't have a widescreen tv buy the standard version.
You will see a lot more picture. Submitted by vince (tampa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
All three Back To The Future movies are excellent! My own Back To The Future: Complete Trilogy box set on DVD is not widescreen. It is actually fullscreen instead just to let you know Video Universe. This made TV's Family Ties star Michael J. Fox who plays Marty McFly a huge big box-office movie star and actor as well before becoming recognizable and famous too in Hollywood. Christopher Lloyd from TV's Taxi plays Doc Brown and Crispin Clover, Lea Thompson as Marty's parents. All of the Back To The Future sequels is so funny and hilarious my favorite punchline phrase in some parts from Back To The Future one not two or three
has gotta be "GREAT!, SCOTT!". Or where Marty says "WOEW! THIS IS HEAVY!". And where Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) also says this to his very young teenage mother in her bedroom from 1955 "Mom Is That You!". Then his mother says "Dare, Dare Just Relax!", "You've Been Asleep Within A Few
Hours!". Then Marty says "I Had A Terrible Nightmare!". And then he says to his Mom also "I Dreamed
I'd Went Back In Time".
Then suddenly his mom says this "Just Relax! You're Back In Good Old 1955!" All of the sudden Marty freaks out shouting "1955!"
I love the DVD extras included on here like the hoverboard test ride, make-up testing rehearsal where they show actors before making the first Back To the Future film
and blooper reel outakes from this movie. Plus the interesting documentary special called The Secrets Of The Back To The Future Trilogy. Hosted by TV's Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron. Submitted by Jason Ross (Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Back To The Future: The Complete Trilogy review
$13.55 The first of three prequels to George Lucas's celebrated STAR WARS films, EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE is set some 30 years before the original STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE in the era of the Republic. Naboo, a peaceful planet governed by the young but wise Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman), is being threatened by the corrupt Trade Federation, puppets of an evil Sith lord and his terrifying apprentice, Darth Maul (Ray Park). Jedi knights Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor, performing an amazing vocal imitation of Alec Guinness, the older Obi-Wan) are called on to intervene in the trade disputes. Along the way, they acquire an apprentice of their own in the form of young prodigy Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), or as STAR WARS fans know him, the future Darth Vader. They also encounter Jar Jar Binks (Ahmed Best), a goofy, lizardlike creature who has been banished from ...
