Brialliant AI, brilliant physics of the puck and total control all make NHL2k3 the best hockey game . I played NHL from EA since 92 and can tell you this is the game for you. Players cover shots, pin you against the board, cover positions , cycle the puck, individual strategies for all the lines. Name your lines, play online, goalies have animations which is not dependent of default position, which means he can dive for the puck and then stretch for the puck , he doesnt have to get back to start position.You actually get called for the right penalties. There are sliders for everything which means you can make the game simulation or arcade. The fighting aint that cool in the game. But the perfect gameplay is superb. Frachise mode is great, with contracts, and management. Season mode if you want to skip the management part except lines setup. Online play,sega sports challenge. They even have minors you can get up into your main NHL team , real minors. This game is truly great :D Good

 good game but xbox live problems
this game is well made in single player mode but when you go on xbox live its alot different. many time you will get disconnected from the game and you will get a loss in your statistics which is pretty annoying. this has been the biggest problem with this game but otherwise the graphics are good and gameplay also. if sega and microsoft could manage to stop getting bugs like the disconnect/loss problem it would be a great game to play online. i dont recommend this game if you plan on playing it over xbox live only unless you dont care about getting a loss in your stats for no reason...
