The classic line of this movie is: "Daddy, they're Russians." To which Alan Arkin responds: "We're Norwegians, little boy." Only Alan Arkin could pull this off.
This movie is a cult classic for comedy that requires thinking and appreciation. If you like "guffaw" type of humor, this movie is not for you. The movie pokes fun at our parent's fears: a Russian attack. After watching this movie, I can assure you will be laughing so hard that you will keep hearing the words: "We are Norwegians, little boy!"

This is a classic to have your movie collection. It stars Alan Arkin and he's truly wonderful in theis movie. Great service as well from CD Universe. Overall, very pleased!

Alan Arkin should have won an Oscar! Hysterical mid-60's comedy where one bit of mis-information gets blown out of proportion and a small New England village goes wild on a snipe hunt. Brian Keith is terrific too!

This is a superb comedy that had a remarkable effect upon both sides of the Cold War of the Krushchev era. Alan Arkin was fabulous, the others were excellent, it's a movie your whole family can enjoy, and the conclusion is simply top notch! Don't miss this one.
