12 X 5 songs Product Information
12 X 5 album for sale by Rolling Stones was released Aug 27, 2002 on the Abkco label. 12 X 5 includes material recorded by the Stones at Chicago's Chess Studios (home to the band's idols Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf) on their first US tour. Though this document of the group's early R&B period kicks off with a couple of covers from unsurprising sources (Chuck Berry's "Around and Around,") Mick and Keith waste little time in displaying their own compositional acumen. 12 X 5 CD music contains a single disc with 12 songs. ...See Full Description

12 X 5 songs I guess the music on all of these new Stones remasters have been reviewed so many times that I think they are most interesting from a technical point of veiw.

||BRILLIANT STEREO TRACKS|
12 X 5 CD music It's a pity that Abkco has not released the UK version of the first 2 Stones albums (THE ROLLING STONES & THE ROLLING STONES Volume 2) in order to allow us fans to replicate the British discography, however this is a welcome release; half of the album is in true, superb, crisp stereo, and surpass by a mile the crappy 80s Abkco remaster.

12 X 5 buy CD music First of all let me say that this is really a great album! Altough I can't understand why they would mix it up with some songs being in stereo and others in mono (and not that great sounding), "Good Times, Bad Times" is a great song but sounded the worst audibly in my opinion... "Time is on my side" is mono here but in crisp, stereo sound on "Hot Rocks" which I can't understand at all! At least my favorite two songs - "Around and Around" and "It's All Over Now" have great stereo sound and its worth having the album for just those two songs! So if you can get past the stereo/mono mixing, you'll love this album!
