(5 Customer Reviews)
As he eases into teenhood, Aaron Carter, younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick, continues to spin out one slice of hook-filled teenpop after another. As on his previous efforts, Carter splits his time between rapping, R&B crooning, and jubilant pop singing. Though pulling a Willie/Julio on "To All the Girls" might seem a bit premature for a 14-year-old, he IS a pop hearthrob, and the girls in question are probably no older than the singer. The opening title track finds Carter in full-on hip-hop mode, while "Keep Believing" is a heart-on-sleeve romantic R&B-laced ballad filling much the same function as "I'm All About You" did on the previous year's OH AARON. True, he doesn't deviate much from his pre-established template, but do you really think Aaron's devoted, predominantly female fans would want him to?
Personnel includes: Aaron Carter, The Baja Men.
Producers include: Lucas & Mickey P, Dreamscape, Shep & Kenny, Riprock 'N' Alex G.
Another Earthquake! Music Aaron Carter Another Earthquake! Songs Another Earthquake! Music Review Average Rating: (3.6 out of 5 stars) Much better than Oh Aaron The album has way better songs than the previous one. Less rap, more proper melodies, which I think is originally what Aaron started off with. Submitted by a reviewer (Asia, Asia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Aaron's Re-emergence First of all, if you want to insult him, spell your words correctly and know that it is a "Richter Scale." What a DA! But this album is to date his best one yet. Aaron seems to be finding his voice and experiments with different sounds for this album. Submitted by Me (city,OH,USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Not good Well first, he's ugly, not that that has to do with his songs. But his music sucks too, unless you like cheesy kidz-bop songs with a young boy singing. This CD is a failure, from the forced "America A O" to "To All the Girls." By the way, it's a Richter scale, not Rector. Submitted by Mi (Birmingham, MI, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Pure self-absorbed crap Aaron Carter is an idiot!
He is only famous because of big brother nicky huh?

Another Earthquake! CD music
$6.19 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. | | Names Spectators Of Life CD (2001) Import; Reissued
Another Earthquake! album
$18.85 Belgium's the Names occupied one of the lower branches of the Factory and Factory-related family tree, releasing only one full album on Crépuscule, 1982's Swimming, and a handful of singles and compilation appearances prior to dissolving. Like the early Simple Minds, their jerky rhythms and bold keyboards recalled Magazine. And like many other bands with any tangential relationship to Factory whatsoever, the Names were shortsightedly looked down upon in the press as a Joy Division clone. Released in 2001 by Les Temps Modernes, Spectators of Life compiles the 1979 single of the same name with an early Belgian radio session of high quality, a number of selections from a couple decent-sounding shows, a compilation appearance, a pair of stray B-sides, and the fruits of a mid-'90s reunion that includes a version of the Passions' "I'm in Love With a German Film Star." It's frustrating to hear the obvious strengths in songs like "Foreign Rendezvous" and "Other Enquiries" and be struck with the reality that much of the group's best material was never recorded properly in a studio. Though rather derivative of Magazine on more than one occasion, the Names shared another thing in common with their forebears that stood against a lot of bumbling bands of the time: sheer, genuine, musicianly skill. The obvious highlight is "Spectators of Life" itself, which, along with "Nightshift" (found on the reissue of Swimming), is one of the two must-own Names songs for post-punk completists. ...
