| Oldie but Goodie
Jimi Hendrix Smash Hits album is a excellent remaster of the old LP album (that's what was played on a record player at 33 1/3 rpm., back in the late 60's). Even the jacket design is the same as I remember it. This album features Jimis' classic hits such as Foxy Lady and Purple Haze. "Wonderful" best describes it.

| The Best $8 or $9 you will ever spend
For a few dollars you own this classic collection of the greatest electric guitarist ever. "All Along the Watchtower" is simply the greatest rock song ever written, Dylan's prophetic and apocalyptic imagery set to Hendrix's other-worldly guitar technique and unique vocals. No British band can top this; worth the price just for this track, but you still get all the other classics, including forgotten gems like Remember and Can You See Me? Excellent package and artwork/photos. If you have only one Hendrix CD, this is IT!!

| Original Experience
The cover picture on this album is groovey. Experience the first 2 Hendrix albums, away from the compilation albums featuring Band Of Gypsies songs. All Along The Watchtower is a powerful song, it's one of those tracks that never get tiring. But if you prefer Band Of Gypsies tunes, this album isn't for you. Remember, there are other albums you could buy, but compilation isn't always better.
