| Cry Like Memphis NOT About Elvis
Cry Like Memphis is an OUTSTANDING song but it is not about Elvis. It is about a woman who is heartbroken from the loss of her love and is comparing her grief/pain/sadness to Memphis' when they learned Elvis had died. While I'm dispelling myths, Bruce Springsteen's "Born in USA", played so often for patriotic reasons, is NOT a patriotic song and the Police's "Every Breath You Take" is about stalking, not love.
