By far the best info to date on B-boying For me I still think there is much that takes place before the 70's. But this DVD is a must for anyone trying to put their hands on a starting place for hip hop culture. I feel that the bronx brought it the the stage, but it's a NY thing and we must not forget that mad heads from all over the city gave birth to this thing NYC stand up!!! A Great Documentary This documentary touches on the roots of hip hop in an exceptional manner. It takes the viewer on a journey through the evolutions of hip hop from the early 70's through the 80's, 90's, and up to current trends. I also liked how the video documented the influences on hip hop moves, such as capoeira, lindy hop, and tap dance. I recommend this video to anyone who is a hip hop and b-boyin' fan, and to dance teachers of any genre. Submitted by Lara (Phoenix, AZ) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
