$15.24 Functioning as something of a replacement for the 2001 collection Their Greatest Hits: The Record, The Ultimate Bee Gees covers much of the same ground as that double-disc set, albeit in not quite so linear a fashion. The Record marched through its 40 tracks chronologically, opening with the stately baroque Beatlesque pop of the '60s and then winding through the '70s, whereas this opens with the bright, fabulous blast of "You Should Be Dancing" and remains in their late-'70s heyday for a while before fast-forwarding to such latter-day adult contemporary ...
| | Isaac Hayes Shaft (Deluxe Edition) CD (1971) Bonus Track; Remastered; Deluxe Edition
Taste
$9.58 Despite its codification into our collective pop culture consciousness, Isaac Hayes' "Theme From Shaft" is a highly original composition. It's been remade by Hayes himself for the remade Shaft film, and appropriately kicks off this collection of tunes from the movie by some of R&B's New Jacks.
A diverse selection of artists encompass the collection, from lascivious soul stirrer R. Kelly to the rugged Latin hip-hop of Fulanito, along with many other noteworthy diversions that represent the many flavors of contemporary urban soul. Most of the material focuses on John Shaft's street smarts and bravado, or the film's pimps, hoes, and gangsta imagery. As expected, Southern hip-hop is well represented, with ...

Taste
$11.99 OREMI was nominated for a 1999 Grammy for Best World Music Album.
Singer and songwriter Angelique Kidjo has her feet planted in many worlds on OREMI, and it sounds fantastic. A cosmopolitan hailing from Benin, West Africa, Angelique maneuvers gracefully and transcendently across the African Diaspora and back. Her studio assemblage here is a fine one, in that they help her thread tight seams between "urban" sounds, funk, jazz and the pop of her home region, leading to an outstanding production that sounds as organic as it is diverse.
"Itche Koutche" is robust street-funk that features special guest Branford Marsalis on soprano sax, blowing a lovely batch of sonic bubbles. "Babalao" does more of the same but with a decidedly Deep ...

$12.39 Expressing my thoughts, dreams and views in the art of hiphop has always been a hobby of mine. It grew into a never ending passion. Hiphop allowed me to be myself while granting me freedom of speech in a fun, energetic, dramatic and emotional way. Born on the 18th September 1985, I am 22 years old Gustave Smith, a fellow native of Sandy Point, a small town in St.Kitts, W.I. My hiphop journey began at age 8 when I started writting hiphop ryhmes at the back of my school books. At age 13, while in highschool, I formed a group with my fellow classmate Talvert Clarke (I.T.Y.C.) and started making music with him as well as performing on every show that was held in the school. At age 14 we then recorded our first single, "Tru Ballers" in a professional studio. We went on to performing at talent shows and beauty pagents in our community. Having graduated from highschool I soon later released two solo underground independant albums under the rap name "Smithoscious". My first solo project was called "Barical" in 2002 followed up by "Love By Much Hated By Many" in 2005. Having grown up and matured more musically, I now go by the name S.M.I. The name "S.M.I." simply stands for "St.Kitts Most Incredible". I considers myself to be one of the best or if not the best lyrists on the island in he hiphop music. My music tends to please both females and males alike. Often times people who see me performing can't believe thats me. Even so are stund by the astonishing music and performance I deliever at shows I've performed on. Due to this my fanbase keeps getting bigger and bigger on a daily basis. People keep adding me on my myspace[www.myspace.com/smisparkling] as well as requesting my songs on the radio stations. I'm so thankful for the support because I'm just about ready to release my 3rd independant solo album. "I'm tryna be one of the best lyrisists on the island" or "I'm tryna make my mark on hiphop." "I'm glad to have support from both males and females for my music" "I've gotten good reviews about my performances and I'm working to make them even better." The album is entiled "Hood Famous" and features 16 new tracks, all of which were mostly written by myself with a little help from my SparklingEntertainment family. So far, I have release two singles off of the new album which are "Take it Back to Da Club" and "I Stay Fresh", both of which are very catchy and energtic. So far people tends to relate to "I Stay Fresh" a lot (a lot is two words) more due to its ego tipping message "I Stay Fresh." I have been performing on a lot of shows both big and small. Some of the recent shows I have performed on are the Miss.Labour Pagent/Mr.Vegas show, the Idonie show, the Aliane/Island Soul Entertainment Show, the Vivid Designs Modelling and Bashment show, the Kittian Superstar Semi-Finals show, the Miss.Big and Beautiful Pagent, the Mavardo Carnival Modelling show, the Real Ghetto Vybes show, the Blacka show and most recently a live performance for a television show HYPE TV. (Presently my team and I are ...
