Standard Screen; Soundtrack English When two gay thugs Angel (Eduardo Noriega) and El Nene (Leonardo Sbaraglia) join a plan to hold up an armored truck with a group of seasoned gangsters, their love and loyalty to each other is tested. Angel is wounded by police gunfire during the robbery, forcing El Nene to kill them all in a fit of rage. Things become complicated when they escape to Uruguay and the police threaten to torture the driver's moll if she doesn't tell them where they are. With their pictures plastered on the cover of every paper, drowning in drugs and alcohol, the gang begins to bicker. Against his boss's wishes El Nene leaves the apartment and roams the streets where he meets a prostitute named Giselle (Leticia Bredice) in whom he begins to trust. Director Marcelo Piñeyro, whose films have been both critically acclaimed and commercially successful, is one of the most important figures in contemporary cinema in Argentina. His fourth film is a delicate balance of a gripping bloodbath and a moving, tender love story. BURNT MONEY is based on a book by Ricardo Piglia and was inspired by a true story of a famous bank robbery in Buenos Aires in the 1960s.
This film was screened in April 2001 at the Walter Reade Theater in New York City as part of a New Argentine Cinema festival organized by the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Burnt Money Movie Review Average Rating: (4.6 out of 5 stars)   Violent and sincere
Based on a real event, “Burnt money” transfers to the screen the after days of a robbery. The members of the gang, haunted and hidden, reveal gradually their inner selves as the story goes on and reaches the (expected) tragic end.
The film is violent and emotional at the same time; well done, under the direction of Marcelo Pineyro and with notable performances by the actors.

 Exciting and passionate
This movie have all of beening a Hollywood love story between guys,
that they both love one another but one of them could'nt express his the way he wonted to cause of issues he had inside of him.

This is not like anything you've ever watched before. It's a solemn and stirring triumph, direct and tight, which makes all the hollywood stuff cadaverous. The film shapes an extremely passionate yet forbearing love out of bitterness and violence. I believe it's the greatest love of all. Also, the mournful tango music will reduce u to it. Now u can have a taste of it and get urself sublimed.

very haunting relationship between main characters. very erotic & sweaty scenes.
plus the characters are very hot & gorgeous. loved the storyline. loved the color of the film. loved the restroom scene. mmm

After he's outed at his Midwestern precinct, gay cop John (Jonathan Wade Drahos) heads to Los Angeles to stay with his cousin Tad (Daniel Kucan), a documentary filmmaker chronicling the local gay scene. Naïve and closeted for a little too long, John only needs one little sniff and he's totally sucked into the world of "circuit" parties, drug-fueled gay raves full of steamy sex, thumping disco, steroid-amped bodies, and soap opera-style interpersonal drama. Soon his life is spiraling out of control and it's time to learn some valuable lessons.
Ex-Playgirl centerfold Dirk Shafer directs CIRCUIT from a script he wrote with producer Gregory Hinton. There's lots of drug use, vanity, angst, groping, and softcore sex (bed sheets and shadows mask total full frontal nudity). Kiersten Warren adds some estrogen and humor as John's college pal who has also come to L.A. to pursue her career as a stand-up comic. Jim J. Bullock (TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT) appears as a drag queen, William Katz and Nancy Allen are married party promoters caught up in a scam involving AIDS and life insurance. Many of the scenes were filmed at actual circuit parties (including the notorious "White Party"), with the attendees acting as extras.
