Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Additional Footage; Bio/Filmographies; Soundtrack English; Soundtrack French; Soundtrack Spanish; English Subtitles; Director's Comments In the second installment of the Star Wars series, EPISODE II--ATTACK OF THE CLONES, Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) is now a teenage Jedi apprentice to Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor). Together they must protect Senator Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman) from a militant group of political activists that is trying to assassinate her. This group is led by the evil Count Dooku (Christopher Lee). Among other troubles, Anakin faces some hard choices as he begins to fall for Padme, knowing this love is forbidden by the Jedi knights' creed. In addition, Anakin begins to show his rebellious attraction to the dark side--which will eventually conquer him, when he becomes the future Darth Vader.
The story is set 10 years after STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE, and there are appearances by some of PHANTOM's characters, including Jar Jar Binks. CLONES also brings back familiar faces from the original STAR WARS: the lovable droids R2D2 and C3PO, and Yoda, who plays a key role in this film. Lucas creates an impressive array of beautifully rendered alien planets and beings, sleek spaceships, and dazzling effects; he remains at the head of the class in terms of technical ability and visual imagination. The film's climactic final sequences show the magic with which CLONES' earns its place as part of the beloved STAR WARS series. Great star wars movie
But I think Episode 1 was better, still waiting for Episode 3, wondering if there will be more after Episode 3, like Episode 7, 8, & 9...

Lucas should have stopped with the first "Star Wars" in 1977. I saw it then and liked it then. Now a curious quarter century later "Star Wars" is an episodic franchise of idiotic outerspace soap opera entertainment with no apparent seeming end in sight. The latest installment is no exception of the usual stupid outerspace melodrama. "clones" is corny, cliched, and has the usual cast of cardboard characters. Yoda the jedi muppet is back to make matters worse, with the Sesame Street sage locked in a deadly light saber duel with of all great actors, the incredible Christopher Lee! Lucas can't surprise with his silly space saga anymore, his milking of one great movie made back in the late 70's, and then subsequently suffering a stupid public to go out and see all of the sequels is a symptomatic of what a used up hack he is. "Attack of the Clones" is just that, a clone of a clone of just another clone, a mutli-million dollar movie waste of special effects and good celluloid.

 aah this is so much better than the phantom penis
after the not so good phantom menace,lucas shoots back with attack of the clones.whilst not as good as the old trilogy,it is leaps ahead of the phantom menace !!!!! i love it

A failure
Movies like these are going to scar me for life! Aotc was only a little better than the Phantom Menance. Fighting scenes sucked real bad. Too much CGI especially Yoda's fake fighting scene. The old trilogy was great but this one was just pure trash. Episode 3? Don't even bother.
