20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection: The Best Of Sammy Davis, Jr. CD

 Great era for Sammy, but no credits
This cd mainlky deals with sammy in the 70's. The downside is that nobody received credits on it for musical performances. Many of the songs are from the TVShow "Sammy" made in London in 1973/4. The Jack Parnell Orchestra conducted by Sammy's own musical director George Rhodes features on the tracks, and Sammy said at the time it was one of the greatest orchestras he had ever played with, yet no reference to the band at all on the cd cover, such a shame. But overall a fantastic compilation of songs from an era when Sammy Davis was huge and at his best.
