Terrible DVD
The movie a classic, one of the best of the best. However, the transfer on this DVD is very bad. This is the second attempt and the Collectors Addition is a flop. I bought this very same edition at a mall store and it too is very bad. The vidio is not clear. The VHS I have of this movie is far better in every way. How sad.

They don't make them like this anynore
With the likes of John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Barry Fitzgerald and of course Ireland as the back ground they don't come any better. Wayne and O'Hara are funny, romantic and sexy!!!! Barry Fitzgerald a comic genius so don't wait for St Patrick's Day to watch this movie it should be enjoyed everyday.

Excellent Movie
I am not normally a fan of this type of movie, but the story line and views of old Ireland and people was great. The quality of the DVD was also good. Better than the yearly TV version since it had not interruption. The DVD adders were also well worth watching.

Wayne and O'Hara at thier very best!
John Wayne's best movie by far. outstanding performances by the whole cast. The interaction between all the cast members, brought to the screen a memorable performance that leaves the viewer smiling, contented and longing for Ireland.
