British popster Cliff Richard expands his musical horizons on these two albums from the 1960s: WHEN IN SPAIN, which finds the vocalist singing popular Spanish tunes in Spanish, and KINDA LATIN which features Richard in a Brazilian pop mode. The albums are together here on a twofer.

What can I say?"The best of world music with perfect, flawless arrangements".When in Spain is more mexican than spanish flavoured.Kinda Latin sounded more sophisticated than merely describing it as "Bossa Nova cafe -Brazilian Jazz.Better versions heard here than that of Chris Montez,Astrud Gilberto,Sergio Mendez,Luis Bonfa,Stan Getz and the rest.A correction should be made on the liner notes/art cover page.PERFIDIA is spelled as"Prefidia" like I've said better delayed than never.This one's a five star*****.

This is the only one opportunity to listen Cliff Richard singing in spanish.
The unique sound of The Shadows mixed with the soft voice of Cliff, playing beautiful latin songs,in When in Spain album.
And in addition, there is another album in this cd (kinda latin) wich presents a group of very famous brazilian, italian and north-american songs, that completes this unknown "latin face" of Cliff Richard.

Punk/metal group G.H.B. presents the U.K. reissue of CITY BABY'S REVENGE (RECEIVER) featuring 22 tracks including eight bonus tunes.
G.B.H.'s second album is worlds apart from its rough 'n' ready debut, but greatly improved: If anything, this is a more cohesive unit than ever, while the tracks benefit from a sharpened lyrical outlook. The title track is a black-humored sequel to the debut album's "City Baby Attacked By Rats," and ranks among punk's most vivid depictions of urban decay. (This same spirit of marginal restraint doesn't extend to their towering hairdos, though; hence, the in-joke of G.B.H. meaning "Great Big Hair.") But the members of G.B.H. have also begun looking outside the confines of their British hometown of Birmingham -- as demonstrated by tracks like "Diplomatic Immunity," "Vietnamese Blues," and "Christianised Cannibals." Guitarist Jock Blyth can still play at breakneck speed, but no longer feels the need to do so on every track, making the sound easier for non-initiates to grasp.
